The New York Giants plan to sign Canadian Football League standout center Brett Jones.

Jones was named the top offensive lineman in the CFL last season.

Jones could compete for a starting job.

Jones played for the Calgary Stampeders last year as they won the Grey Cup title.

Jones worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinas and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jones was named CFL Most Outstanding Rookie in 2013.
