The environment in the NFL is fast-paced and opinions can change 180 degrees in a short period of time.

Take, for example, the case of A.J. Hawk, as outlined by Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. The Green Bay Packers linebacker appeared to be on the fast track out of town at the start of the 2010 season. In fact, he was open to a trade at the time.

But things changed and he went from being a two-down linebacker to playing every down. Now, after signing a five-year contract to remain with the Packers, he sees it as the best possible place to be.

“The culture here is amazing,” Hawk said. “I talk to people around the league, friends who are with other teams, and I don’t think there’s any place in the league that compares to Green Bay. And being here gives me the best chance at winning more Super Bowls.”
