Albert Hayneswork has some more trouble to sort through.

The Washington Redskins defensive lineman was formally charged with assault today stemming from an alleged road rage incident in Fairfax, Va., on Feb. 2.

According to the Washington Post, Haynesworth appeared with his lawyer this morning. He was interviewed and then signed a releasable warrant. He is scheduled to appear in court March 31. Whether or not Haynesworth is still with the Redskins in another month-and-a-half remains to be seen.

Joel Velazques filed the complaint against Haynesworth. He claimed that Haynesworth got out of his vehicle, came over and punched Velazques in the nose at an intersection after the two had jockeyed for space on the road.

Haynesworth’s agent Chad Speck vehemently denied the accusations.
