Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb and his family were not at their Great Falls, Va., home over the weekend when a hit-and-run driver wiped out a large portion of a metal fence in front of their property.

The Washington Post reports that an unknown vehicle on the curvy, two-lane road in front of their home veered left across the road into a mailbox before coming back to the McNabb’s side and plowing through the fence.

“I hope whoever did it is okay,” McNabb’s wife Raquel told the Post.

Fairfax County Police do not have a suspect. The Post comes up with the ultimate punchline too, “The tire tracks were not caused by a moving truck.”

No “For Sale” sign was damaged either.
