Houston Texans rookie outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney still isn't quite ready for Monday night's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien only gave the top overall pick a 50-50 shot at playing Monday.

Clowney has only been doing conditioning, not practicing.

“Generally a guy needs to be on the practice field to play his best,” Texans defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel said. “We’re hoping to get him on the practice field so we can make a determination.”

O'Brien called Clowney a game-time decision.
