Jaguars assigned Jamell Fleming off Cardinals waivers

The Jacksonville Jaguars were assigned former Arizona Cardinals third-round cornerback Jamell Fleming off waivers, cutting wide receiver Jeremy Ebert and defensive back Marcus Burley.

Fleming was drafted last year out of Oklahoma by the Cardinals and started three games as a rookie.

He registered 23 tackles last season, but didn’t play during the Cardinals’ loss to the St. Louis Rams.
