Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Jason Worilds signed his one-year, $9.754 million transition tender.
By signing it, no other teams can submit offer sheets on Worilds.
Worilds was assigned the transition tag Monday,
He's now expected to continue discussions toward a long-term deal with the Steelers, who are trying to create salary-cap space to fit Worilds into their structure.
Worilds emerged as a valuable pass rusher last season, registering eight sacks.
