The New York Jets signed veteran blocking tight end Kellen Davis to a one-year contract. Davis, 29, has played for the New York Giants, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears. He played collegiately at Michigan State. Davis played six games last season for the Lions.
He played 137 snaps on offense and had no catches.
The Jets brought in Davis and linebackers Jason Trusnik and Spencer Paysinger for visits this week.
