New York Giants linebacker Keith Bulluck is battling turf toe and is questionable for Sunday’s meeting with the Chicago Bears at New Meadowlands Stadium.

It’s a painful injury that he suffered on the third play of the Giants’ loss to the Tennessee Titans last week, and it’s the type of injury that can linger if it doesn’t heal properly.

Still, Bulluck is holding out hope he can be ready for a team that has already been forced to deal with injuries.

"I like my chances. I'm a pretty fast healer. In the past, I've had certain injuries that should linger longer and I've been able to overcome them faster than the average position, so let's hope that's still in my favor."
