The Tennessee Titans are 0-for-3 in their pursuit of veteran centers, having missed on Scott Wells, Jeff Saturday and Chris Myers this off-season.
Now, the Titans are hosting New England Patriots free agent center Dan Koppen, and are serious in their pursut of the 32-year-old, according to TitanInsider.com. Koppen stayed over Wednesday night in Nashville after his visit with the club.
Fixing the interior of the offensive line is one of Tennesee's priorities this off-season, as well as finding leadership in that group. That is part of the reason the Titans have already signed Steve Hutchinson.
If the Titans land Koppen as well, it won't be a good sign for current center Eugene Amano, whom they re-signed in 2010. If Koppen is signed, Amano would likely in a competition for the right guard spot with Leroy Harris or be a risk of being released.
