Keith Bulluck is going to start looking in earnest for a job this season in about two weeks from now and from the sounds of things the Detroit Lions will hold interest.

It’s a fit that makes sense for coach Jim Schwartz, who coached the 33-year-old Bulluck for the majority of his career in Tennessee. He already plucked Bulluck’s teammate Kyle Vanden Bosch out of Nashville.

Bulluck, of course, is coming off a torn ACL and that makes it questionable where he will be when the season begins. The Lions have been shuffling parts at linebacker after trading away Ernie Sims to Philadelphia. Primarily, they are counting on DeAndre Levy to step up with a big second season.

We’ll see where the Lions are in the picture when Bulluck begins taking visits.
