The Detroit Lions are prepared to let All-Pro defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh leave as a free agent.
They opted not to make him their franchise player. it would have cost $26.9 million.
Suh will be a free agent on March 10.
Suh may wind up just going to the highest bidder, perhaps the Oakland Raiders.
Suh, 28, is a four-time Pro Bowl selection who led the Lions with 8.5 sacks and 37 quarterback hurries. He also had 21 tackles for losses.
Now, he's poised to potentially leave the Lions.
