New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram was not injured early this morning when the vehicle he was traveling in collided with a tractor trailer in Hunstville, Ala.
Fox-6 in Alabama reports that the Heisman Trophy winner from Alabama was riding with his girlfriend when the accident occurred at 1 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Per the report, police said alcohol did not play a factor in the crash. Ingram was the first-round draft pick of the Saints.
Last year, New York Giants safety Chad Jones, a rookie draft pick out of LSU, was seriously injured in a one-car accident before training camp.
