The Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal with cornerback Rashean Mathis, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter on Twitter.
Mathis has been a mainstay in the Jacksonville secondary since joining the team as a rookie in 2003 and has 30 career interceptions. Last year, he was limited to nine games, the fewest of his nine-year NFL career.
