New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson is sidelined with a turf toe injury suffered against the Buffalo Bills.
Wilkerson is in a walking boot and is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.
The 2-9 Jets will ahve to play without him for a few weeks.
"It doesn't look good for Big Mo," Jets coach Rex Ryan said. "If you're in a boot, that doesn't look good for this week. But, hopefully, we'll get him back as soon as we can."
Wilkerson has never missed a game before. The second-team All-Pro leads the Jets with 4.5 sacks.
He'll be replaced by Quinton Coples.
