Southern Hills to host 2030 PGA Championship

The 2030 PGA Championship will be held at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Okla., the PGA of America announced Tuesday.

It will mark the eighth PGA Tour major championship hosted by Southern Hills, and the first since Tiger Woods won the 2007 PGA Championship.

The course also hosted the PGA Championship in 1970, 1982 and 1994, as well as the U.S. Open in 1958, 1977 and 2001. It played with a par of 70 in all previous major tournaments.

This year's PGA Championship was moved rom May 14-17 to Aug. 6-9 due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is still scheduled to be played at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. The PGA of America has said it would hold the event without fans if necessary.
