NFL reduces Greg Hardy's suspension to four games

The NFL reduced Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy's 10-game suspension to four games.

Hardy was suspended for his domestic violence case even though he wasn't convicted of a crime.

Hardy can make $3.5 million more than he was scheduled to under the original suspension.

Hardy's first regular-season game playing for the Cowboys will be against the New England Patriots on Oct. 11.

 "We are looking forward to the start of the season and having Greg be a part of the team," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said in a statement.
