49ers re-sign FB Kyle Juszczyk to 5-year, $27M deal

The San Francisco 49ers re-signed fullback Kyle Juszczyk to a five-year deal worth a reported $27 million on Sunday night.

Juszczyk, who turns 30 next month, has spent the past four seasons with the 49ers after spending his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He enjoyed a breakout season in 2020 with six touchdowns (four receiving, two rushing) while providing capable blocking out of the backfield.

“So incredibly thankful to be apart of this organization for 5 more years!” Juszczyk said in a message posted on his Instagram account. “Thank you Faithful for the continuous support! Looking forward to showing that the juice is always worth the squeeze.”

In 122 games (83 starts), Juszczyk has 199 catches for 1,849 yards and 12 touchdown receptions. He also has carried the ball 42 times for 157 yards and three touchdowns.
