Mitchell Trubisky works on sliding technique, not passing

Bears Falcons Prop Bets

Mitch Trubisky throws more than 1.5 TDs, Tarik Cohen is a threat in the passing game and Todd Gurley has a tough time getting touches. Here are my three favorite Bears Falcons prop bets for Week 3 as Atlanta faces Chicago.

Mitch Trubisky OVER 1.5 passing TDs

Mitch Trubisky is 2-0 and Matt Ryan is 0-2. That goes to show how crazy the first two weeks have been. Trubisky actually hasn’t been bad at all to start the season, and it looks like they made the right call to start him over Nick Foles.

Trubisky has five TDs in his first two games, and has exceeded 1.5 in both those games. He will be going against a Falcons defense that has struggled against the pass. They have given up 772 yards and five TDs through the air, which are astounding numbers. I like this game to be a shootout, so Trubisky should have plenty of red-zone opportunities. I’m expecting 2-3 TDs from Trubisky this week.

Tarik Cohen OVER 18.5 receiving yards

Tarik Cohen is more of a threat in the passing game than the running game. The Atlanta Falcons also have struggled to contain running backs in the passing game.

Last week, Ezekiel Elliott had 6 catches for 33 yards out of the backfield. In Week 1, Chris Carson had 6 catches for 45 yards.

Cohen just signed a new three-year, $17.25 million contract extension back on September 20th. That extension means he should be a focal point of the offense for the remaining of the season. Cohen will be able to get open often against Atlanta, and I like him to have a breakout game this week.

Todd Gurley UNDER 55.5 rushing yards

The Todd Gurley experiment in Atlanta has gotten off to a rough start. He only has 117 yards through two games, and has yet to show the explosiveness he had with the Los Angeles Rams.

I think this game is going to be all about the QBs. Atlanta has been in two shootouts so far, and I’m expecting another one this week. I like the Bears to get up early, which will make it tough for Gurley to get touches. This is a tough matchup for Gurley.
