Bills activate CB Norman (hamstring) from IR
The undefeated Buffalo Bills activated cornerback Josh Norman from the injured reserve list heading into their road game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Norman, 32, is in his first season with the Bills but has not played in any of the opening three games of the season because of hamstring injury. He was placed on the IR list Sept. 12.
His move to the active roster was just a formality after he was a full participant in practice this week.
Norman, a fifth-round draft pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2012 out of Coastal Carolina, has started 92 of his 111 career games. He has 14 interceptions with two returned for touchdowns in eight seasons with the Panthers (2012-15) and Washington (2016-19).
The Bills’ defense blew a 25-point third-quarter lead against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, but the offense rallied for a 35-32 victory. It is the second consecutive season the Bills (3-0) have opened with three succession victories.
