Broncos WR Jeudy (shoulder), 4 others questionable vs. Raiders
Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was one of five players the team designated as questionable for its road game Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The 21-year-old rookie Jeudy leads the Broncos with 484 receiving yards this season on 30 catches with a pair of touchdowns. He hurt his shoulder in last week’s loss at Atlanta and was held out of Wednesday’s practice before working out on a limited basis the past two days.
Denver head coach Vic Fangio told reporters he is “pretty confident” Jeudy will be healthy enough to face the 5-3 Raiders as the Broncos (3-5) hold out hopes for a second-half playoff run.
Fellow wideout Diontae Spencer (shoulder), cornerback Bryce Callahan (ankle) and tackles Demar Dotson (groin/hand) and Jake Rodgers (shoulder) were also listed as questionable for Sunday.
Linebacker Joe Jones (calf) was ruled out. Cornerback A.J. Bouye (concussion), tight end Noah Fant (ankle), wide receiver Tim Patrick (hamstring) and guard Austin Schlottmann (ribs) are all expected to be active this weekend after being limited earlier in the week.
Starting tackle Kolton Miller (ankle) is listed as doubtful for the Raiders after sitting out his third consecutive practice on Friday. Defensive tackle Maurice Hurst (ankle) has been declared out for Sunday.
