Browns activate RB Chubb from injured list
The Cleveland Browns activated running back Nick Chubb from injured reserve Saturday and he will play on Sunday against the Houston Texans.
Chubb, 24, returned to practice earlier this week after missing the last four games with a right knee injury.
A second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Chubb finished second in the NFL in rushing in 2019 with 1,494 yards.
He was off to a strong start this season with 335 yards and four touchdowns before suffering the injury in the first quarter of a Week 4 win against the Dallas Cowboys. He was placed on IR on Oct. 5.
The Browns (5-3) also elevated guard Michael Dunn from the practice squad and he could make his NFL debut against the visiting Texans (2-6).
Dunn, 26, previously spent time on the practice squads of the Los Angeles Rams (2017) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2018). He also played for the Birmingham Iron in the Alliance of American Football in 2019 and with the Seattle Dragons in the XFL in 2020.
