Cardinals QB Kyler Murray inactive vs. Seahawks
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will miss his third consecutive contest after being ruled inactive for Sunday’s road game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Murray, who was listed as questionable, has been idle since sustaining a left ankle injury in a 24-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 28.
Colt McCoy will make his third straight start in place of Murray, who will be afforded two weeks to recover. Arizona (8-2) is on a bye next week before visiting the Chicago Bears on Dec. 5.
McCoy, 35, threw for 249 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ 31-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Nov. 7. He was limited to just 107 with an interception in a 34-10 loss to the Carolina Panthers last Sunday.
Murray, 24, has completed 72.7 percent of his passes for 2,276 yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions in eight starts this season. He has also rushed for 147 yards and three scores.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Murray needs 31 passing yards to reach 10,000 for his career.
Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, running back Jonathan Ward, safety James Wiggins and offensive lineman Justin Pugh were also listed as inactive.
