Cowboys RB Elliott (calf) questionable for Bengals
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is listed as questionable with a calf injury for Sunday’s road game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Elliott insisted Friday that he will play against the Bengals.
“I’m sure it’s going to be sore during the game, but it’s Week (14), everyone’s going to be sore,” Elliott said. “I don’t think it will limit me much at all.”
Elliott has struggled this season with 784 rushing yards and a career-worst 3.9 per-carry average. He has rushed for five touchdowns.
Elliott has experienced fumble issues this season, coughing the ball up six times as either a runner or receiver and losing five.
Dallas also ruled out offensive tackle Cameron Erving (knee) on Friday and placed him on injured reserve. Erving missed Tuesday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. He has started five of six games played.
Cornerback Anthony Brown (ribs) and safety Donovan Wilson (groin) also are listed as questionable.
