Giants S Peppers (ankle) returns to practice

New York Giants safety Jabrill Peppers returned to the team’s first practice of the week on Wednesday.

Peppers was limited after missing the Giants’ Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Rams. Safety Adrian Colbert (neck) was also limited. Rookie safety Xavier McKinney (foot) remains on injured reserve.

Linebackers Oshane Ximines (shoulder) and Kyler Fackrell (neck) were added to the injury report, with Ximines missing practice and Fackrell limited.

The Giants are looking for their first win of the season against the NFC East rival Cowboys (1-3) on Sunday in Dallas.

Peppers has 10 tackles and a pass defensed in his first three games of the season, all starts.
