Giants WR Tate (hamstring) questionable for Monday

New York Giants receiver Golden Tate was limited in practice for the third straight day Saturday with a hamstring injury and is questionable for Monday night’s opener against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tate, 32, caught 49 passes for 676 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games in his first season with the Giants in 2019.

He has 660 receptions for 7,890 yards and 44 scores in 148 career games with the Seattle Seahawks (2010-13), Detroit Lions (2014-18), Philadelphia Eagles (2018) and Giants.

The Giants also listed linebacker Tae Crowder and tight end Levine Toilolo as questionable for Week 1 with their own hamstring issues.

Meanwhile linebacker Markus Golden and safety Adrian Colbert have both returned from illnesses and were full practice participants on Saturday.
