Minshew pick in Jaguars vs Dolphins Prop Bets

Jaguars Dolphins props number in the hundreds for Thursday Night football betting fans, but we focus on just three. Gardner Minshew lights up the Dolphins defense, Keenan Cole is Minshews favorite target and Gaskin Myles struggles to get carries. Here are my favorite Thursday Night prop bets for the matchup between the Dolphins and Jaguars.

Check out hundreds of player and team props at SugarHouse and BetRivers.

Gardner Minshew OVER 262.5 passing yards

Minshew has been spectacular through two games with 512 yards passing and six TDs this season. That terrific play has put a wrench in the Jaguars Tank-for-Trevor-Lawrence plans, since Minshew would like to keep his job.

This looks like another favorable matchup for Minshew. The Dolphins defense has struggled in both games this year, especially last week against Josh Allen. He torched their defense, throwing for 417 yards on 24 completions. That’s an average of 17 yards per completion.

Minshew should be able to expose this defense again, as their best cornerback (Byron Jones) will not play in this game. I’m expecting a big night from him.

Keenan Cole OVER 3.5 receptions

This number is way too low. Keenan Cole has been Minshew’s favorite target through two games, and I expect that to continue against the Dolphins. He has 11 catches for 105 yards and a pair of TDs thus far.

He is going to benefit from the absence of the aforementioned Jones this week, and should be able to get open often. D.J Charke should get the attention of Miami’s best corner in Xavien Howard, which means Cole will have their third or fourth cornerback on him for the majority of the game. He has more than 3.5 catches in both games, and I expect that to continue on Thursday night.

Gaskin Myles UNDER 39.5 rushing yards

The past two years, Miami has been atrocious in the running game. They have not had a 100-yard rusher since 2018, and this year is nothing new. Gaskin Myles has taken over as their main threat in the running game but he hasn’t been very threatening so far with 86 yards combined in two games.

I know 39.5 is a low number, but I’m expecting only 6-8 carries for Myles in this game. I like Jacksonville to get up early, which means you will see a heavy dose of Fitzpatrick slinging the ball downfield. Take the under on this one.
