Jaguars reinstate 11 players to practice squad

The Jacksonville Jaguars removed 11 players from their Reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday after all were designated as a precaution, Pro Football Talk reported.

After practice-squad defensive end KC McDermott tested positive last week, the Jaguars placed several players on the list who had close contact with him.

Offensive linemen Jared Hilbers and Austen Pleasants were reinstated as were running back Nathan Cottrell, tight end Ben Ellefson, and wide receivers Terry Godwin, Josh Hammond and Trey Quinn. On defense, linebackers Nate Evans and Joe Giles-Harris are back, as are defensive backs Doug Middleton and Josh Nurse.

McDermott remains on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, as does defensive lineman Josh Mauro, who is currently on suspension for a PED violation.
