Jets WR Crowder (hamstring) ruled out vs. 49ers
New York Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, coach Adam Gase announced Friday.
Crowder was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a hamstring injury before sitting out on Thursday.
The 27-year-old had seven catches for 115 yards in the Jets’ 27-17 season-opening setback to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday.
Crowder has recorded 306 receptions for 3,576 yards and 21 touchdowns in 73 career games (41 starts) with Washington (2015-18) and the Jets.
Breshad Perriman, Chris Hogan and Braxton Berrios are healthy wideouts on the roster for New York, while second-round pick Denzel Mims (hamstring) is on injured reserve. Vyncint Smith remains sidelined after having surgery to repair a core muscle injury.
