Josh Jacobs OVER 68.5 rushing yards
Josh Jacobs got off to a hot start in Week 1, rushing for 93 yards on 25 carries. He also had four catches for 46 yards, so it’s pretty clear he will be the focal point of the offense. Jacobs has eclipsed 68.5 yards in 11 of his 14 games in the NFL and has been very consistent since being the Raiders 1st round pick in 2019.Â
The Saints do have a good run defense, but I think 68.5 rushing yards is just too low a number. I’m expecting him to get 22-25 carries so he will have to get around three yards a carry. I think that is a lock for Josh Jacobs tonight.Â
Jared Cook OVER 52.5 receiving yards
Jared Cook has been one of the most inconsistent players in the NFL in recent years. He has been boom or bust since entering the league in 2009, however he has established himself as one of the better tight ends in the league since 2019. He has over 52.5 yards in six out of his last seven games, and be should Drew Brees No. 2 option behind Alvin Kamara tonight. I’m expecting a big night from Jared Cook.Â
