OL D.J. Fluker announces deal with Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins agreed to terms with free agent offensive lineman D.J. Fluker, he announced via social media Monday.

Details of the contract were not disclosed.

Fluker started eight games at guard and right tackle last season for the Baltimore Ravens, and he appeared in all 16 of the team’s games.

Fluker wrote on Instagram, “Thank you Baltimore…it was a fun ride with great fans and tremendous support. Excited about my new journey to Southbeach! @miamidolphins family let’s ride!!! NOW GO AHEAD AND SWIPE BECAUSE I JUST GOT MY NEW UNIFORM!!”

The 30-year-old, who was drafted in the 11th overall in the 2013 draft by the then-San Diego Chargers, has played in eight seasons.

Fluker played his first four years with the Chargers, starting in 59 games from 2013-16.

He started six games with the New York Giants in 2017 before spending his next two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

Fluker is one of just two players age 30 or older on the newly rebuilt Miami roster.
