Packers vs Saints Prop Bets: Rodgers, Kamara picks

Alvin Kamara continues his hot start, Emmanuel Sanders fails to replace Michael Thomas and Aaron Rodgers lights up the Saints defense. Here are my favorite Packers vs Saints prop bets for Sunday night’s matchup between the Green Bay and New Orleans.

Alvin Kamara OVER 65.5 rushing yards

Kamara has been the best player for the Saints so far this season. He carried the ball 13 times for 79 yards against the Raiders, and was the only bright spot for the Saints offense.

This seems like a favorable matchup for the Saints run game. The Green Bay Packers have struggled against the run since the start of 2019, and ranked 27th in the league last season in that category. With Michael Thomas out and Drew Brees struggling, Sean Payton is going to have to rely heavily on Kamara in this one. I am expecting him to get 15-20 carries, which should be enough to hit the over on 65.5 yards.

Emmanuel Sanders UNDER 3.5 receptions

The loss of Thomas seems to have derailed the Saints passing game. Brees struggled to get the ball to his wide receivers against the Raiders, completing less than 50% of his 26 completions to his wideouts.

This is another tough matchup for Emmanuel Sanders, as Jaire Alexander will most likely be following him for the majority of the game. Jaire was PFFs top ranked cornerback in Week 2, which will cause even more problems for Sanders. I took the UNDER 3.5 last week on Sanders and it hit. Take it again this week.

Aaron Rodgers OVER 249.5 passing yards

Rodgers is running back the clock so far this season, and is playing some of the best football of his career. He has 604 yards through two games, and is at the top of MVP discussions.

Rodgers has a favorable matchup this week against the Saints. Last week, Carr was able to torch the Saints secondary. He threw for 284 yards and 3 TDs, and was basically able to find open receivers all game.

Rodgers is a better QB than Carr, and should be able to do the exact same thing Carr did. Even without Davante Adams, Rodgers should have no trouble hitting 250 yards.
