Raiders RT Brown (illness) inactive vs. Browns
Las Vegas Raiders right tackle Trent Brown is inactive for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
He came off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday and practiced with the team but was scratched with an illness.
“Trent Brown felt ill before the game, resulting in his deactivation,” the Raiders said in a statement. “He did not exhibit any COVID-related symptoms.”
On Oct. 22, the Raiders briefly placed their entire starting offensive line on the reserve/COVID-19 list as a precaution because of their exposure to Brown, who tested positive for the virus.
Brown, 27, signed a four-year, $66 million contract with the Raiders in March 2019. A calf injury limited him to just three snaps in the season opener against the Carolina Panthers, and he returned to play at Kansas City on Oct. 11. He has not played since.
