Report: Eagles’ Sanders, Ertz set for MRIs on Monday
Philadelphia Eagles’ running back Miles Sanders and tight end Zach Ertz are scheduled to undergo MRIs on Monday, according to FOX Sports.
Sanders’ knee injury is considered a greater concern than Ertz’s ankle injury, according to the FOX Sports report. Both were injured in Sunday’s 30-28 home loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Sanders left the game after being brought down after a 74-yard run in the third quarter. He finished with 118 yards on nine carries, giving him 434 yards on 71 carries in five games this season. Boston Scott, who has 21 carries for 67 yards, would be next in line for the Eagles (1-4-1), who host the New York Giants on Thursday night.
Ertz did not return to the game after being injured early in the fourth quarter. He is tied for the team lead with 24 receptions for 178 yards and one touchdown.
