Reports: Giants to start QB Mike Glennon vs. Bears
Mike Glennon will start at quarterback for the New York Giants on Sunday in Chicago, multiple outlets reported.
Head coach Joe Judge said earlier this week that Glennon and second-year signal-caller Jake Fromm would split time for the Giants (4-11) against the Bears (5-10).
Glennon, who played for the Bears in 2017 and went 1-3 in four starts, started New York’s first three games in December before coming off the bench to relieve Fromm in last weekend’s 34-10 loss at Philadelphia.
Glennon, 32, has completed 55.1 percent of his passes for 766 yards with four touchdowns and eight interceptions in five games this season.
Fromm, 23, has completed 12 of 29 passes (41.4 percent) for 107 yards with one interception in two games.
Starter Daniel Jones sustained a neck injury in a Week 12 win against the Eagles and has been shut down for the season.
