Saints top two TEs injured, both undergoing MRIs
New Orleans Saints tight ends Adam Trautman and Nick Vannett are scheduled to have MRIs on Tuesday after leaving with injuries during Monday night’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Vannett is having an MRI on his knee to determine the severity of his injury while Trautman is having a scan of his injured foot.
Trautman had to be carted off in the first quarter. X-rays taken Monday night were negative, per reports. Trautman started the game.
Trautman, 24, hauled in 15 catches for 171 yards and a touchdown in his rookie season with the Saints. The Saints took him in the third round of the 2020 draft.
