Seahawks’ Wilson ties mark of 16 TDs through four games

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw two touchdown passes in Sunday’s 31-23 win over the Miami Dolphins to tie Peyton Manning with a record 16 scoring passes through four games.

Wilson tossed four in the season opener against the Atlanta Falcons before throwing five apiece in games against the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys.

Manning set the mark in 2013 when he was quarterback of the Denver Broncos. He opened the season with a career-high seven touchdown passes against the Baltimore Ravens and followed up with two versus the New York Giants, three against the then-Oakland Raiders and four against the Philadelphia Eagles.

In Week 5, Manning threw four more touchdown passes against the Dallas Cowboys. Wilson and the Seahawks play the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 of this season.

Wilson has passed for 1,285 yards while being intercepted twice for the Seahawks (4-0).
