Super Bowl injury report: WR Antonio Brown (knee) limited

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Brown is dealing with a knee injury and participated in what head coach Bruce Arians termed “half a practice.”

“We’ll see,” Brown said Wednesday. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity.”

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said left tackle Eric Fisher (Achilles) and linebacker Willie Gay (knee) did not practice, but all other injured players — including wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf) — took part in the workout.

Arians said all of the Buccaneers’ injured players were able to get on the field and participate in some fashion.

“All those guys were limited today,” Arians said. “They got about half a practice in and most of them looked pretty good. We’ll see how the swelling goes (Thursday) on AB for sure.”

Brown did not play in the NFC Championship Game at Green Bay. Linebacker Lavonte David, who injured his right hamstring in the third quarter of the win over the Packers, expects to play Sunday.

Safety Antoine Winfield, also unable to play at Green Bay with an ankle injury, was more of a participant Wednesday then safety Jordan Whitehead — who forced two fumbles against the Packers. Whitehead has a torn labrum in his shoulder and swelling in his knee. He wore a non-contact jersey at practice.

However, Arians said Whitehead was “flying around pretty good.”
