Tom Brady selling shirts to mark his return to Foxboro
Tom Brady is inviting fans to commemorate his return to Foxboro, Mass.
That will be $35, please.
Brady’s TB12 Sports website debuted the “Return to Foxboro” T-shirt on Monday, designed to replicate the simple white T-shirt Brady wore when he took part in the NFL Scouting Combine in 2000. The Patriots drafted him with the No. 199 overall pick and he went on to win six Super Bowls in 20 seasons in New England before departing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — and another Super Bowl ring — as a free agent in 2020.
The Buccaneers face the Patriots in a marquee game Sunday night.
“Tom’s infamous sixth round draft selection 21 years ago following a lackluster NFL Combine evaluation, inspired him to spend the next 20 years making a name for himself in Foxboro. On 10/3, he is back – this time, with a new ring and a new jersey,” reads the website description of the shirt.
“The Patriots are the only remaining franchise Tom has yet to defeat in his storied NFL career. Inspired by his NFL Combine tee from 21 years ago, the Return To Foxboro T-Shirt celebrates this can’t-miss matchup.”
