Vikings place WR Thielen on reserve/COVID-19 list

The Minnesota Vikings placed wide receiver Adam Thielen on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced on Monday.

The news comes one day after Thielen reeled in eight catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns in the Vikings’ 31-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The game was the 100th of Thielen’s career.

Thielen, 30, leads the team in both catches (49) and touchdown receptions (11). He also has 646 receiving yards to trail only rookie Justin Jefferson (848) on the club.

Thielen has recorded 372 catches for 4,961 yards and 36 touchdowns in seven seasons with Minnesota.

The Vikings (4-6) host the Carolina Panthers (4-7) on Sunday.
