NFL Week 17: Over and Under Best Bets

Vikings vs Seahawks Sunday Props

Kirk Cousins builds off his success from Week 4, D.K Metcalf continues to dominate and Chris Carson is held in check. Here are my Minnesota Vikings vs Seattle Seahawks prop bets for Sunday Night Football in Week 5.

Check out the game preview from Gagnon as well as the latest odds and hundreds of props at BetRivers Sportsbook.

Kirk Cousins OVER 275.5 passing yards

If you take away his horrendous game Week 3 against the Colts, Kirk Cousins has been solid for the Vikings this season. He had his best game of the year last week, completing 16-22 and he had a passer rating of 127.1.

Cousins was under 275.5 last week, but if he plays like he did last week, he should go well over 275.5. I think this game is going to be very high scoring and close right to the finish. Cousins will be throwing the ball at least 30 times, which is a good sign he is going over.

The Seahawks also own the worst pass defense in the NFL, giving up over 400 yards per game. I think Kirk could shine on Sunday Night.

DK Metcalf OVER 72.5 receiving yards

Metcalf is having himself a breakout year. He is third in the NFL with 403 yards receiving, and it’s scary to think he hasn’t even reached his ceiling yet.

D.K will be the focal point of the offense in this game. The Vikings struggle against the pass, owning the 28th ranked pass defense so far this season. The Seattle offense has opened up and let Russ throw the ball this season, and I expect that to continue on Sunday Night.

Chris Carson UNDER 65.5 rushing yards

It looks like the Seahawks found a gem in the 7th round, as Carson is starting to look like a bell cow running back. Carson was pivotal in the Seahawks win over the Dolphins last week, rushing for 80 yards on 16 carries.

This week could be a tough matchup for Carson. The Vikings run defense has been solid as of late. They held the Houston Texans last week to only 96 yards on 26 carries. With the Vikings pass defense struggling mightily, I don’t think Carson will get many carries. Expect a big day from Wilson and Metcalf, not Carson.
