Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner has tired of talking about the need to get the football more to wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.
Patterson caught six passes for 86 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had one catch against the Washington Redskins. Patterson has 26 catches through nine games.
“We completed 26 balls,” Turner said. “I don’t care who they go to, to be honest with you. If you’re 26-of-42 [passing], then the quarterback is doing something right, you’re protecting the quarterback pretty good and guys are getting open. I think as we continue to go, Cordarrelle will get his opportunities, and we will get better at them, and he will start having more success.”
