Chad Ochocinco's struggles with the New England Patriots don't appear to be getting any lesser.
In fact, the wide receiver's production continues to be minimal, and on Sunday it was zilch in a 24-20 loss to the New York Giants. Ochocinco caught none of the five passes thrown his way by quarterback Tom Brady, and according to the Boston Herald, the two still have not gotten on the same page timing-wise and route-wise.
“We’ve only played together for eight games,” Brady said. “We’re just going to keep working at it. We’ve got no other choice but just to keep working at it.”
To his credit, Ochocinco was upbeat, at least publicly about his struggles, in his first interview in more than a month.
“It was fun, I enjoyed it,” Ochocinco said. “That’s about it. Everything is there. Everything is there.”
Everything that is, except production.
