The New England Patriots have added tight end Nate Byham to the roster, according to ESPN Boston.</p> <p>
Byham is a blocking tight end at 6-foot-4, 264 pounds.</p> <p>
He caught six passes for 56 yards and one touchdown for the Tampa Bay Bucccaneers where he played for coach Greg Schiano.</p> <p>
Byham tore his anterior cruciate ligament last Octobe and was placed on injured reserve.</p> <p>
Byham is a former San Francisco 49ers sixth-round draft pick from Pitt.</p> <p>
