The New England Patriots have lost linebacker Jerod Mayo for an indefinite period of time with an MCL injury.
The good news for the Patriots is that the injury does not appear to be season-ending, according to Tom Curran.
Mayo suffered the injury in the second quarter of the Patriots' victory over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday and needed help in getting off the field. He was carted to the locker room at halftime.
