Law enforcement officials in Santa Clara, Calif., are seeking information from anyone that attended the wild weekend party that San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith left with stab wounds.
Two others suffered gunshot wounds in the mayhem and police are seeking information. Smith is “recovering comfortably” from his wounds that reportedly came when he attempted to break up a fight. According to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee, more than 100 people were leaving a home in the hills east of San Jose when police arrived on the scene after 2 a.m. Saturday.
Smith was treated and released from the hospital. One of the gunshot victims has been released and the other should be out soon, per Barrows. Police have no suspects or leads at this point.
