NFL players and twin brothers Mike and Maurkice Pouncey won't be charged with a crime after allegedly beating up a man at South Beach nightclub during their joint birthday party.
Their lawyer, Jeff Ostrow, released a statement today to that effect.
"As expected, the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney has determined that the Pouncey brothers should not be charged in connection with an altercation that occurred at the Cameo Nightclub on July 12, 2014," Ostrow said. "This further confirms that the previous claim that the brothers were involved was false and fabricated by individuals seeking notoriety and monetary gain."
Mike Pouncey and Maurkice Pouncey were facing potential misdemeanor battery charges.
They are still being sued, though.
