Raiders activate DT Ross from injured reserve (NFL)

The Las Vegas Raiders activated defensive tackle Daniel Ross from injured reserve on Saturday.

Ross, a fourth-year pro, spent his first three seasons with Dallas after going undrafted out of Northeast Mississippi Community College. He appeared in one game this season, making three tackles in the Raiders’ 36-20 loss at New England.

The Raiders will be without defensive tackle Maurice Hurst on Sunday when they face the Chargers in Los Angeles.

To clear a roster spot for Ross, the Raiders waived third-year wide receiver Rico Gafford, who had no catches this season.
