The St. Louis Rams parted ways with a decorated veteran center in Jason Brown, and now they’ve added a replacement.
Scott Wells, a Pro Bowl performer for the Green Bay Packers, has signed. He received a $24 million, four-year conract. The deal includes $13 million in guarantees, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Wells also visited the Tennessee Titans and the Packers wanted him back but Green Bay never made a spirited run at re-signing him.
