Rankings update No. 1 has been completed. Here’s what we adjusted:
QUARTERBACKS
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer has moved up, while Washington Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb has moved down a couple of spots.
RUNNING BACKS
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno has moved down a few spots due to a hamstring injury that could be a problem in 2010.
Houston Texans running back Ben Tate has moved down a few spots. Until we see Tate’s role in the offense during preseason games, we are worried about his workload (or lack thereof) entering the season.
Chicago Bears running back Chester Taylor has moved down a few spots.
Houston Texans running back Arian Foster has moved up a few spots. We realized we opened our rankings with Foster a bit too low.
WIDE RECEIVERS
Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin have both been moved down a few spots due to preseason injuries that could carry over into the regular season.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin and New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks have switched spots, with Harvin moving up and Nicks moving down.
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason has been moved down a few spots.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams (rookie) has been moved up close to ten spots. Williams could be the Bucs’ No. 1 wideout in Week 1.
DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS
The Baltimore Ravens D/ST has been moved from No. 3 to No. 7 due to injury concerns.
KICKERS
Dallas Cowboys kicker David Buehler has been moved down a few spots.
